Karaites always celebrate Shavuot which is also called the Feast of Weeks on a Sunday, on the fiftieth day after the (first) paschal Saturday.
The feast of Shavuot falls when the prophet Moses received the Ten Commandments, because of this the feast is also known as מַתַּן תוֹרָה Mattan Torah - The giving of the Law.
During this day all work is prohibited, except the preparation of food.
